Worcestershire will change and grow over the next 20 years.

To help ensure it is funded and delivered in a co-ordinated and timely manner Local Authorities have a responsibility to provide a large proportion of the infrastructure that is needed to support our communities.

District Infrastructure Delivery Plans

The Council is a two-tier authority. Within Worcestershire there are six district councils: Bromsgrove District Council, Redditch Borough Council and Wyre Forest District Council to the north of the County and, Malvern Hills District Council, Worcester City Council and Wychavon District Council to the South of the County. 

The three councils to the south of the County work in unity to form The South Worcestershire Development Plan (SWDP) and are continuing to work on SWDPr.
