In Worcestershire we value the vital role foster carers play and believe in providing the financial support required to cover the cost of caring for a child in their own home.

In addition to the combined allowance and fees, Worcestershire Fostering carers receive on average £51 per week mileage allowance.
Payments are also available for:
- holidays, birthdays, and festival payments
- school trips
- clothing and school uniform allowance
- retainer - a guaranteed fee when carers have a vacancy but are available to take a child
- up to 4 weeks paid respite for carers per year
- mileage
- set up costs
