Worcestershire Autism Partnership Board

Worcestershire Autism Partnership Board

Worcestershire Autism Partnership Board was set up to inform and shape a local autism strategy and action plan for Worcestershire, monitor and review its progress and adherence with the Autism Act 2009.

The Autism Act 2009 sets out the requirement for central Government to introduce and keep under review an Autism Strategy and accompanying Statutory Guidance. It places a duty on Local Authorities and NHS organisations to act under the guidance and implement the strategy locally.

Worcestershire has an active multi-agency Autism Partnership Board with membership made up of partners from across Worcestershire, including autistic people, family carers, providers of services and professionals.

Worcestershire Autism Partnership Board has jointly worked with Herefordshire Partnership Board to co-produce a new All-Age Autism Strategy for the two counties.

If you would like to get involved in the work of the Worcestershire Autism Partnership Board and/or it’s sub-groups, please contact: AutismGroups@worcestershire.gov.uk

The Board meets bi-monthly, and this webpage is where you can find minutes from each meeting.
