Colleges and Sixth Forms

Information about colleges and sixth forms, including those for children and young people with SEND.

There are several colleges and sixth forms within Worcestershire and the surrounding areas which provide many different courses for students with a range of abilities.

All colleges have open day/events, where you can visit, see what’s on offer, and talk to staff. The timing of these events vary depending on each individual college, so it’s worth checking their websites for details and many offer the ability to register for updates about them.

To help you navigate each of the sites, not only have we included a link to the homepage, but also, where available, a link to their information about the support they offer for students with SEND.

Read here about Cleo and Joel at HOW College (PDF).

There are also other small providers available such as:

SCL Education

A post-16 further education provider delivering high-quality education, inspired through sport.

In addition to this, in Worcestershire there are a number of schools with a Sixth form, both mainstream and specialist, that may be able to accommodate students with SEND. For more information, please contact the school directly.

Here is a list of Worcestershire SEND Schools that offer a higher level of support to those with an EHCP
