Enforcement Plan Consultation
The Draft Enforcement Plan has been prepared in line with the guidance contained in the Government's Planning Practice Guidance (PPG), which includes ensuring effective enforcement guidance document and the Revised National Planning Policy Framework (NPPF) December 2023.
The purpose of the Plan is to set out, for the benefit of the public and developers, the objectives and priorities that the County Planning Authority (CPA) will seek to follow in pursuance of its monitoring and enforcement responsibilities including the investigation of alleged cases of unauthorised development. It will also assist the CPA in considering the most appropriate action to take on specific enforcement and monitoring issues.
The consultation is to provide an opportunity for the public and other interested parties to make comment on the draft until Tuesday 3 December 2024 when the consultation period ends. You can make comments on the Draft Enforcement Plan Document in the following way:
