Family Hubs are a one stop shop where children, young people and families can seek help and support.
What are Family Hubs?
Family Hubs offer support to children, young people and their families. They provide a single place to go for support and information from a variety of services. Family hubs make it easier for you to get the support you need.
Who can get support?
You can get support from a Family Hub if you are:
- a parent or carer of a child aged 0 to 19, or 25 with special educational needs or a disability
- pregnant
- a young person up to the age of 19, or up to 25 for a young person with special educational needs or a disability
What support do Family Hubs provide?
Typically, you’ll be able to access a wide range of services, such as:
- parenting support such as baby groups and parent classes
- support for wellbeing and mental health
- support for children with special educational needs and disabilities
- access to financial and debt advice
- information about local youth clubs
- domestic abuse support
- infant feeding advice
Each family hub offers access to different support and services. The services available depend on what people in the local area need.
