As the winter season sets in, Worcestershire Libraries are great places to visit, offering everyone a free, warm, welcoming, and friendly space.

The 21 libraries across the county are part of the Warm Welcome Network, providing a haven of warmth, friendliness, and relaxation throughout the winter months. Residents are encouraged to discover the multitude of free services, access valuable information and support, take part in engaging events and activities, connect, and make new friends.

Discover and join in with your local library's events and activities. From Reading Groups to Health Walks, Bounce & Rhyme to Lego Club and Knit & Natter to Job Clubs, whether it's for children or adults, there's something for everyone.

Councillor Marcus Hart, Cabinet Member for Communities, said: “Our libraries are fantastic facilities at the heart of our communities, staffed by exceptional individuals dedicated to supporting our residents. Whether you seek advice or simply desire a warm space to unwind, our libraries are here to support you over the winter months. I encourage members of the community to help spread the word and I hope to see you at one of our libraries soon.”

All the other usual library facilities will be available too, including free access to books, newspapers, computers, the internet, wi-fi, digital support, and study spaces for anyone who needs to do some quiet work.

Everyone is welcome to use the library as a warm space, and staff will provide a friendly welcome to make you feel comfortable.
