Storm Bert looks set to bring strong winds and heavy rainfall to the county this weekend, particularly Saturday evening looking overnight into Sunday.

The Council Highways Teams will be on standby over the weekend to monitor any flooding or obstructions to the highway.

Flood Pumps will be installed at Hylton Road in Worcester tomorrow morning (November 23) as a precaution.

If you spot any fallen trees or debris that is obstructing the public highway you can report it to the council by visiting the Report It section of the website or dial 999 if there is risk to life requiring immediate attention.
