Councillor Matt Dormer, Cabinet Member with Responsibility for Highways, said: Our libraries are once again opening their doors with lots of activities to keep children entertained during the half term break.

We know how much our customers missed being able to take advantage of library activities during the pandemic, so I would encourage anyone looking for something creative to do this half term, to see what your local library is offering.”

Don’t forget you can find spooky stories on our free e-book service Borrowbox and the latest Halloween editions of kids magazines like National Geographic Kids and Little Kids MiniMag and Storytime.

Look up your local library on the County Council website to find out what tricks and treats are in store.
