Bookings for this summer’s Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) Programme are still available.

Families with children receiving benefits related free school meals can  sign up for the HAF summer activities programme  and book activities via the HAF website.

There are over 45 providers across the county with a range of activities for school aged children to enjoy this summer.

These include watersports, football clubs, swimming, various sports clubs, horse riding, arts & crafts, team building & life skills, martial arts and plenty more! HAF also offers specialist SEND places as well as the ability to support SEND children to attend some mainstream provisions and activities too.

Councillor David Chambers, Worcestershire County Council’s Cabinet Member for Education, said: “There are so many brilliant activities taking place this summer so I would encourage anyone with a child receiving benefits related Free School Meals to sign up for the programme and see what’s on offer for their child.

“Worcestershire’s HAF programme has been a huge success with thousands of children and young people accessing enriching activities and a healthy meal or snack. There are a great range of providers with spaces left for the rest of the summer holidays, including specialist places for SEND children.”

A new booking system has been introduced for this year so families must be signed up and approved to book activities. Once you have registered, you can log in to view and book up to 16 free sessions throughout the summer holidays or a professional can do this on your behalf.

To register and book activities, please visit the HAF website.
