Families across Worcestershire will find out today, which secondary school their children will be starting at this September.

Worcestershire County Council received 6,592 applications this year and everyone who made an application for a secondary school place has received an offer of a place.

9 in 10 of Worcestershire’s children will be starting secondary school in their first-choice preference in September.

Councillor David Chambers, Cabinet Member for Education, said: "Starting secondary school is a significant milestone in a child’s educational journey, and we’re delighted that the majority of Worcestershire’s pupils will be joining one of their preferred schools this September. We wish them all the best as they take this exciting next step in their learning and development."

99% of this year’s secondary school applications in Worcestershire were made online by visiting the dedicated pages of the Council’s website.

School place offers are available to view via logging on to your account, and an email will be sent informing you of the update.

If you would like to appeal your child's school place offer, please visit the appealing a school place offer pages of the County Council website and download the Appeals Information Document.
