Families across Worcestershire will find out today, which secondary school their children will be starting at this September.
This year in Worcestershire, the County Council received 6,293 applications for secondary school places.
Everyone who made an application for a secondary school place has received an offer of a place in the County.
Councillor Tracey Onslow, Cabinet Member for Education at Worcestershire County Council, said: “Starting high school is another milestone moment in the education journey of our pupils. I’m really pleased that 9 in 10 of Worcestershire’s children will be starting secondary school in one of their preferred schools in September.”
99% of this year’s secondary school applications in Worcestershire were made online by visiting the dedicated pages of the Council’s website.
School place offers are available to view via logging on to your account, and an email will be sent informing you of the update.
If you would like to appeal your child's school place offer, please visit the school admissions webpages on the County Council website, and download the Appeals Information Document.
Parents are also being reminded to apply for school transport for their child/children as early as possible for the September 2023 school term. For more information, please visit the apply for school and college travel assistance pages of the County Council website.
