Say I do again in Worcestershire!

The County Council’s Registration Services team can offer you and your partner a wide choice of ceremonies, at venues across the county.

Renewing your vows provides a perfect opportunity to celebrate your marriage with more of your family and friends.

This ceremony is ideal if you:

• had a small ceremony during lockdown and now wish to celebrate with more of your family and friends 
• married abroad and want to celebrate with those could not join you the first time around
• have an anniversary to celebrate. 

One of our celebrant Registrars will officiate at a Renewal of Vows ceremony in any venue of your choice.   

It does not need to be in an Approved Venue or a Register Office, it can be done at home, in your garden or a village hall.  

Councillor Marcus Hart, Worcestershire County Council’s Cabinet Member with Responsibility for Communities said: “We hear many fantastic stories from weddings across Worcestershire and if you think our county is the perfect place for you to renew your vows, then our team are happy to help. Our Celebrant Registrars will meet you, discuss options, listen to your ideas and, together with you, will make your renewal ceremony happen.”

You can follow the format of a ‘Marriage Ceremony’ and enhance your celebration ceremony in any way you wish.  

You might like to have friends reading poems, playing music or ask our Celebrant Registrar to do a hand tying ceremony for you with the beautiful infinity knot,  or choose to include a sand ceremony.    

The list is endless and our Celebrant Registrars have the experience and knowledge to help you plan your celebration to remember all those moments in life that will make your day forever special.
