A number of road closures will be in place this weekend, as the Wythall and Hollywood Fun Run returns to the town.

The community, grass-roots event is returning for the first time since the pandemic, and is a partnership between Wythall Community Association together with Olympic Medallist & World Champion Runner, Steve Cram’s Events of the North Team.

Silver Street, Batemans Lane, Packhorse Lane, Middle Lane, Wythall Green Way and Wilmore Lane will be closed from 9:00am until 12.00pm (noon) on Sunday 23 June.

The event, which includes a 5k, 10k and Families on Track (5K) relay race, is also being supported by Worcestershire County Council’s Public Health team.

Primrose Hospice is the official charity partner for the race.

Disruption will be kept to a minimum and a rolling road closure and reopening schedule will be in place on the day.
