Road closures as Worcestershire pauses to remember them

Published date

Worcestershire will be coming together this week for several parades and services, to remember our armed forces who have served and lost their lives in wars and other conflicts whilst serving their country.

A number of road closures will be in place across the County across this weekend in order for parades to go ahead.

Councillor Richard Morris, Chairman of the Worcestershire Armed Forces Partnership, said:

“It is vitally important that the county can come together and take a moment to remember those who have lost their lives fighting for their country. During my tenure as chair, we will continue to do all we can to reflect, raise awareness and support those in the Armed Forces community in Worcestershire and build on the fantastic work already being done. This programme of parades is a great example of this.”
