Worcestershire County Council Chairman, Councillor Tracey Onslow, hosted a Remembrance Service at Wildwood this morning.

Staff and councillors came together to pay their respects and honour those who gave their lives to keep us safe and those who continue to protect us.

The Reverend Canon Tim Williams and Patricia Jones, from Unison Worcestershire, were also in attendance at the poignant service.

The Chairman also met the Poppies to Paddington Train as it came into Worcestershire Parkway this morning on its way to London, handing over a wreath to represent the County Council, as wreaths are placed at the War Memorial on Platform 1 of Paddington Station on Armistice Day.

The County Council wreath will join dozens of other wreaths from across the Great Western Railway network.
