The current relocation plans for Redditch Library are being discussed by Worcestershire County Council’s Overview and Scrutiny Performance Board next week.

The Board will be discussing the current proposals, before they go before the Council’s Cabinet on July 20, where a final decision will be made.

The meeting will be taking place in the Council Chamber at County Hall from 10am on Monday 26 June.

Worcestershire County Council’s Overview and Scrutiny Performance Board, Chairman Tom Wells said: "Members of the board will be discussing the proposed relocation and the consultation at the meeting before the proposal goes to Cabinet in July and a final decision is made. The meeting in the Redditch Town Hall was really well attended, when this item last came to the board, we would welcome and encourage residents to come along and have their say or watch the meeting as it is webcast online.”

The proposals for relocating Redditch Library are a part of the Town Plan Deal led by Redditch Borough Council.
