Visit Worcestershire is launching the first-ever Taste Worcestershire Producer & Buyer Event, a new trade-focused business event designed to spotlight the county’s thriving food and drink sector.

The event takes place on Tuesday 20 May 2025 at Sixways Stadium and brings together local producers with buyers from hospitality, accommodation, retail, delis and farm shops.

Created to strengthen local supply chains and encourage more venues to source nearby, the event supports sustainable business practices and celebrates the quality of Worcestershire’s homegrown offer.

From reducing food miles to supporting local talent, the event is another step forward in strengthening Worcestershire’s food and drink sector.

Attendees will be able to sample local produce, make direct connections with suppliers, and discover what’s being made right here in the county.

Lorna Robinson, Visitor Economy and Destination Manager for Visit Worcestershire said: “We are absolutely thrilled to launch our very first Taste Worcestershire producer event. It’s a brilliant opportunity to shine a spotlight on the outstanding food and drink being made right here in the county, while creating valuable connections between local producers and buyers from across hospitality, retail, and independent outlets. We encourage all food and drink producers across Worcestershire to take advantage of the opportunities Taste Worcestershire offers this year – and buy and supply locally.”

The event also marks the lead-up to Taste Worcestershire – a county-wide, three-week celebration of food and drink taking place from 6 to 26 October 2025.

The October showcase will feature exclusive offers and experiences, with the aim of celebrating local produce to residents and visitors.

Buyers can register for free, while producers can secure a table for just £75 + VAT – offering a cost-effective way to promote their products directly to decision-makers across the county’s hospitality and retail sectors.
