The Worcestershire Book Chat, a new online book club launches next week, building on the success of the Reads & Listens Borrowbox titles selected by the County Council’s Library Service.

The Book Club gives the county’s avid readers the online opportunity to discuss the last month’s Worcestershire Reads and Listens recommendations, with fellow enthusiasts.

Whether you've finished a title or are looking for new recommendations, our informal, friendly book club, led by the library team, is the perfect space to share thoughts on past titles, preview upcoming ones, and connect with fellow readers.

The first meeting takes place on Tuesday 15 October at 2:30pm providing readers the chance to meet others who share their love for books and grow their reading community, and you can book your FREE place now.

The Reads and Listens eBooks and eAudiobooks have both proved incredibly popular since they launched for customers, with over 27,500 combined downloads.

Over 11,000 eBooks have been borrowed since Worcestershire Reads launched in September 2023 and over 16,500 eAudiobooks borrowed since ‘Worcestershire Listens’ was launched in December.

BorrowBox gives you access to loads of eBooks and eAudiobooks - the latest titles, award winners, non-fiction, and the classics all of which are available 24 hours a day with a FREE Worcestershire Libraries membership.
