Kidderminster Registration Office will be relocating to Wyre Forest House next week, whilst long-term refurbishments at Kidderminster Town Hall are completed.

The office will be closed for two days to facilitate the move to the new site in Finepoint Way and will not be open for appointments on Monday 28 November and Tuesday 29 November.

The office will reopen for appointments at the new site on Wednesday 30 November 2022.

The registration office will be based at Wyre Forest House for around 18 months whilst the refurbishments are carried out at Kidderminster Town Hall in Vicar Street.

Appointments will be available Monday to Friday and the opening hours are 9am to 12:45pm and then 1:30pm to 5pm.

Councillor Marcus Hart, Cabinet Member for Communities at Worcestershire County Council said: “Our registration services in Kidderminster are moving to allow long term refurbishments at Kidderminster Town Hall to be completed. There will be no changes to the services we offer for our residents whilst we are in Wyre Forest House. We look forward to seeing the transformation of the Town Hall take shape and returning there once the project is completed.”

Wyre Forest House has a free, visitor car park.

Kidderminster Town Council submitted a planning and Listed Building Application for the transformation of Kidderminster Town Hall on 30 June 2022.

The transformation of the Town Hall will see a ground level community café, arts area, new bar installed as well as opening access to historic spaces.
