This Easter, while you’re enjoying your chocolate treats, don’t let good recycling habits hop away!
Worcestershire County Council is encouraging residents to recycle their Easter egg packaging by placing cardboard boxes into their recycling collections and saving aluminium foil for drop-off at their nearest Household Recycling Centre.
To recycle foil correctly, please ensure it’s clean, scrunch it into a ball, and take it along on your next visit - and remember, foil should not go into your green recycling bin.
By taking a few simple steps, we can all help make this Easter a shining example of sustainability and give valuable materials a second chance at life.
