Get into the spirit of Christmas at The Hive’s FREE Christmas Fayre on Saturday 10 December in partnership with the Business and IP Centre (BIPC) Worcestershire; Libraries’ free business support service for entrepreneurs and small businesses.

The day will include a Christmas Market showcasing local Worcestershire businesses and children’s activities including a Christmas Film dome, crafts and even story time from Father Christmas himself!

The Christmas Market will be offering a wide choice of products many of which are eco-friendly, upcycled or locally sourced produce, as we are keen to promote a sustainable future here at The Hive.

Councillor Marcus Hart, Cabinet Member for Communities at Worcestershire County Council, said: “I would encourage Worcestershire residents to ‘Buy Local’ and support small, independent businesses. The Christmas Market is sponsored by BIPC Worcestershire a service which supports local entrepreneurs and start-up businesses through our library network.”

There will be plenty of festive fun for all! Families will be welcome to join in with story time with Father Christmas, attend the FREE Christmas Card Crafting workshop in the Children’s library, or sign up for one of the Make and Take ‘Christmas Decoration’ sessions.

The Hive will also be showing a 20-minute film ‘The Alien who stole Christmas’ inside an inflatable Christmas-themed dome.

The Christmas Fayre runs from 10am to 3pm at The Hive in Worcester and is FREE to attend. Some of the children’s activities have limited spaces and a small charge applies so pre-booking online is recommended.
