Here2Help are actively seeking more volunteers to help as they support local residents in Worcestershire to cope with the impacts of COVID.
Here2Help volunteers have already made a massive impact by supporting and helping out at local vaccination clinics so that local residents can receive essential vaccinations and booster jabs.
As demand for vaccinations and jabs increase Here2Help need more volunteers to step forward, get involved and give their support.
Here2Help volunteers will support the NHS Herefordshire and Worcestershire Clinical Commissioning Group with welcoming, stewarding and supporting nursing staff at the COVID vaccine booster clinics across the county.
County Councillor Matt Dormer, cabinet member for Communities said, "This is another great opportunity for people in Worcestershire to get involved with the response to the pandemic.
"This is also a chance to become part of the biggest and most successful vaccination programme in public health service history.
"Volunteering is known to be a great benefit for people, a way to connect with others, promote a sense of purpose and give back to the local community. Local volunteers are really needed to support this rollout. By becoming part of the Here2Help service local you can do your bit to help keep your local communities safe."
