The new Here2Help Community Services Directory is now available as part of the wider Here2Help service to help residents find the support they need.
People can search for a range of services and support offered by charities, community groups, businesses, the public sector and other organisations in their local area and across the whole of Worcestershire.
These services include mental health and wellbeing, financial advice, assistance and supplies, volunteering opportunities, recreation activities and much more.
Councillor Matt Dormer, Cabinet Member for Communities for Worcestershire County Council, said: “Here2Help has been such a success and we are expanding the range of resources available. The Community Services Directory is the next step forward for the programme and I’m really pleased it’s now gone live. There are lots of services available on there so if you’re struggling and need support, please do take a look.”
Following its launch in 2020 in response to the Covid-19 pandemic, Here2Help has provided a range of support to thousands of individuals in need of help and support during the pandemic.
Now, the Community Services Directory will build on Here2Help's success and enable residents to self-serve and look for local services and support online.
Here2Help will still help to support people who need to self-isolate and offer support to those who are unable to seek help from family, friends or neighbours.
Go to the dedicated Here2Help pages of the County Council website for more information about the Community Services Directory and to register a service.
