Worcestershire County Council’s Growth Programme, Elevate, has launched a dedicated programme to help manufacturers across the county.

The programme has been designed to help support manufacturers when it comes to modernising their manufacturing processes.

The specialist support available through the Elevate Digital Technology and Automated Manufacturing (DTAM) programme will enable businesses to explore how digital technologies and automation can be applied in day-to-day manufacturing operations, resulting in improved processes, increased productivity, growth and sustainability.

There are 15 hours of fully funded support up for grabs as well as the opportunity to apply for grants up to £15,000 on completion of the programme.

To find out more about whether this might be something that would benefit your business the Elevate team are organising a Digital Breakfast on Tuesday 7 December between 8am and 9am.

Councillor Marc Bayliss, Cabinet Member for Economy and Skills, said: “It is great to see our Elevate team hosting events again, the support they give is invaluable to our businesses across the county, and they play a huge part in growing the county’s economy. I’d like to thank Matt for taking time to tell us his success story and I hope this inspires others to reach out to Elevate and their support network.”

The breakfast will be hosted by the delivery partners of the programme on Zoom and Matt Busby, MD of The Name Label Company.

Matt is a past participant of the Elevate Programme and will be on hand to discuss how the programme has helped him overcome the barriers and challenges faced by manufacturers.
