The Hive will be hosting the region’s largest free space event on Saturday 8 October.

The event will be running from 10:30am to 4:00pm, and will include free talks, activities and displays for anyone interested in space including a particularly popular free planetarium 360 experience.

The day will also offer the free opportunity for visitors to fly through the universe and learn what it’s like to become an astronomer in an multi award-winning 360 planetarium gifted to the event from Immersive Experiences, an award-winning experiential company.

Activities will also include:

  • Author stands

Councillor Marcus Hart, Cabinet Member with Responsibility for Communities at Worcestershire County Council said, “We’re delighted to be hosting Space Day which is always really popular with our library customers, and we are particularly grateful to Immersive Experiences for offering the platinum for free so that we can offer this experience to everyone!”
