Worcestershire Libraries will be hosting a variety of exciting activities over the festive season that will keep your family entertained with a host of story times, parties, craft activities and even a visit from Father Christmas himself!
The Hive will be hosting a special 12 Days of Christmas Storytime in the lead up to Christmas Eve, a Christmas Decoration Make and Take and don’t forget the Christmas Fayre on 10 December where Father Christmas will be leading some very special story times!
Councillor Marcus Hart, Cabinet Member for Communities at Worcestershire County Council, said: “With plenty of festive activities on offer, this a perfect time to visit one of our libraries. Our libraries are thriving community spaces where people go to meet with one another and participate in a wide range of services.”
There will be plenty of festive fun at Droitwich Library with Christmas bauble-making workshops and festive games.
Head over to Bromsgrove Library’s Christmas party to make some reindeer food or, come to the library in your pyjamas for Christmas bedtime stories at Catshill Library, and make your very own Elf on the Shelf at Hagley Library, plus so much more!
Weekly Storytimes will be taking place throughout December which will be Christmas themed, and many include a festive craft activity. Activities will be taking place at Stourport Library on a Tuesday, Kidderminster Library on a Wednesday and Tenbury Library on a Thursday.
