The High Growth Activate Programme supports ambitious, high value Worcestershire based businesses less than two years old, to achieve significant sustainable growth.

Following the success of its first cohort of businesses, the council have announced that applications are now open for the next cohort of businesses.

The programme consists of tailored one to one support, a series of workshops and peer sessions.

One local business that has benefited from the consultancy support is UV Hygienics.

Tom Field from UV Hygienics said: “What a pleasure and privilege it has been to be part of the programme. It really has surpassed my expectations in terms of content quality but also the positive impact I can see that it's had on my professional development and the strategic decisions I have made for the business.”

Support for this programme is delivered by expert providers Bizsmart and Rockfine Group.

Councillor Marc Bayliss, Cabinet Member with Responsibility for Economy, Infrastructure and Skills said: “Having such support available for our early-stage high growth businesses is extremely positive for Worcestershire which is why I am delighted to see we are now offering the programme to a second cohort.”

“The feedback received from the previous cohort has shown this programme has been a great success. Applicants have not only taken away new insight, but they have also been encouraged to act by ensuring that businesses complete the support with a solid foundation for future growth.

“I would urge all early stage, high growth businesses in Worcestershire to make the most of this invaluable support.”

To be eligible to apply, you must be a Small Medium Enterprise, have traded for less than two years and trade at least 70% business to business.
