It's that time of year when exam results can bring a mix of emotions for many 16 to 18-year-olds.

Remember, if your results aren't what you expected, there's no need to panic. There are lots of options and plenty of help available for a promising future.

If you're uncertain about what to do next or in need of support, the friendly team at Careers Worcestershire are here to help. They guide young people aged 15 to 24 to help them navigate employment, education, and training pathways that lead to success.

Another pathway to explore is the exciting world of T Levels which- combines classroom learning with on-the-job experience through work placements. This unique blend can open doors to not only jobs but also higher apprenticeships or alternative university pathways.

Cabinet Member with Responsibility for Education, Councillor Tracey Onslow said , “I encourage all students who may be less than happy with their A Level results to consider exploring various options available, such as T Levels, Apprenticeships, or contacting universities through clearing.

“Remember, success is not defined solely by exam results. There are many pathways on offer to kickstart your bright future, no matter your grades on results day.”

If university was the goal, and the grades may not have been as expected, don't lose hope. The first step is to contact your first-choice university. They may still consider your application and offer an opportunity through clearing.
