Visit Worcestershire are excited to announce that entries are now open for next year’s annual Tourism Awards.
The awards celebrate the very best of what the county has to offer.
Recognising outstanding organisations, sustainable practices and recently launched new businesses in the sector.
After the success of the past two award ceremonies hosted in March of 2022 and 2023, entries are now open for businesses to be recognised for their fantastic efforts towards the Worcestershire visitor economy.
In partnership with Visit England, the winners of the local awards will then be shortlisted for the VisitEngland Awards of Excellence in the hope of being nationally awarded for their impact on the tourism sector.
Dominique Bray, Business Growth Manager for Visit Worcestershire said: “The awards create an opportunity to celebrate Worcestershire’s vibrant visitor economy, which continues to produce amazing experiences for visitors. We are inviting tourism and hospitality businesses from across the county to get involved to demonstrate why their business sets them apart from the rest. The feedback from previous winners showcases real value of entering the awards, resulting in business growth and increased brand awareness.”
Award entries are easy to complete and are open to all leisure and hospitality businesses in Worcestershire across 13 categories.

- Self-Catering Accommodation of the Year
- Small Serviced Accommodation of the Year (B&Bs and Small Hotels)
- Small Visitor Attraction of the Year
- Pub of the Year
- Taste of Worcestershire Award
A brand new category has been launched to celebrate Worcestershire’s many festivals and events. Visit Worcestershire will be asking the public to submit their vote to choose the winner. More details will be released at a further date.
Visit Worcestershire are also seeking sponsors which offer businesses the chance for their brand to be in front of Worcestershire’s tourism sector as well as involvement in additional marketing activity. For further information please email visitworcestershire@worcestershire.gov.uk

The closing date for applications is midnight on 25 June 2023.
