Worcestershire County Council’s Resident Roadshows will be in Droitwich to find out what is most important to the residents of Wychavon.
The fourth roadshow of this summer’s countywide tour will be the Droitwich Saltfest on Saturday 3 August from 10:00am and 4:30pm.
Councillors and council staff will be on hand to share information and take residents questions about the services it provides. There will also be opportunities to explore how the money residents spend on their Council Tax is spent on services the Council provides.
The stand will also showcase information about the Council’s Corporate Plan, Shaping Worcestershire’s Future.
The county’s Public Health team will also be at the event encouraging everyone to keep moving and learn fun exercises that will help our county’s people live well for longer - they’ll also be giving away resistance bands to give you a helping hand with those exercises!
Councillor Simon Geraghty, Leader of Worcestershire County Council said: “It has been brilliant bringing the resident roadshows to events across the county, and I’m really pleased that residents have really engaged with our council staff and councillors about the issues that matter most to them in their local communities. This year, we also have the digital roadshow. This will allow us to have get more feedback from across the county, reaching those residents who may not be near a roadshow event, and helps us inform more people about the functions of the county council.”
