From Monday 21 October to Sunday 10 November, Worcestershire residents are invited to a fascinating and informative exhibition at The Atrium in The Hive, Worcester.

In partnership with Severn Waste Services, Worcestershire County Council has organised this event that will take you behind the scenes to see how recycling is processed after it leaves your home.

Visitors will have the opportunity to walk through the recycling journey, view real samples of materials at each stage, and get answers to those burning questions—like what really belongs in your green bin and why.

Councillor Emma Stokes, Worcestershire County Council’s Cabinet Member for Environment, said: "This exhibition is a fantastic opportunity for residents to understand the full recycling process and the impact of their choices. It’s about empowering the community to recycle smarter and make a positive environmental difference."

Jenny Hope, Education and Communications Officer from Severn Waste Services continued: “We are delighted to work with our colleagues from across Worcestershire County Council and the Districts to create an informative and accessible exhibition on the recycling process across Herefordshire and Worcestershire.  Together, we’re aiming to debunk some of the myths on recycling and answer residents’ questions on what can and can’t be recycled and why.”

Visit this exhibition soon to discover how to recycle smarter and help make Worcestershire a cleaner, greener place.
