In response to recent flooding seen across the county, Worcestershire County Council has announced a Flood Recovery Support Grant for businesses and residents.

The County Council has launched the support grant to help flood hit communities get back on their feet following the flooding seen in September, October, November and December of 2024.

The support grant is available for businesses in the Malvern Hills District that were flooded in October and businesses in other parts of the county that were flooded in September, October, November or December.

The grant is also available for residential properties anywhere in the county that flooded in September, October, November or December.

Malvern Hills District Council has a separate Business Flood Recovery Grant for businesses flooded in the Malvern Hills District in November.

Councillor Emma Stokes, Worcestershire County Council’s Cabinet Member for Environment, said: “We have set aside funding to support communities in Worcestershire who have been affected by the floods. Together with our district council colleagues, we want to help towns such as Tenbury, and others across the county, to recover as quickly as they can.”

The County Council has contacted residents and businesses known to have flooded, inviting them to apply for the grant. If you feel you meet the criteria, but have not yet been contacted, please email the Council's flooding team.

Before you apply, please read the Guidance and Further Information on the Council's website.

Applications close on Friday 24 January 2025.
