Are you finishing school soon and not sure of your next steps? Inspiring Worcestershire is here to help.

Inspiring Worcestershire are hosting a series of careers clinics over the summer break to give young people support to talk through the options available to them before taking that next step.

There are several sessions being hosted from local libraries across the county over the next couple of months. The sessions in Kidderminster are to be hosted from the Point.

Councillor Marc Bayliss, Cabinet Member for Economy and Skills said: “Our county has many great opportunities and has really helped our young people take their next steps into the wider world when they leave school.

“It’s great to see us continuing our support with these summer career sessions. If you think the Inspiring Worcestershire team can help you or someone you know, please contact them.”

Judy Chadwick, Skills and Investment Group Manager at Worcestershire County Council, said: “Currently in Worcestershire there is a number of great employment opportunities and vacancies within apprenticeships and kickstart that the teams will be able to talk young people through and support them to apply.”

“The clinics will be attended by specialist advisors from Worcestershire Apprenticeships, our Further Education partners and DWP as well as others. The clinics offer any of Worcestershire’s young people aged 16 to 24 years old a face to face advice session to access support with thinking through their next steps, whether that’s into education or employment. Our advice team is ready to support.”

The team can help with a variety of queries, from job applications, to looking at apprenticeship and Kickstart opportunities here in Worcestershire.
