Are you studying for GCSEs, A levels or other Level 3 qualifications?

‘Study Happy’, a partnership between Worcestershire Libraries and The University of Worcester, is all about helping students, particularly those studying for school, college or university exams, to reach their academic goals while also prioritising their wellbeing.

With Study Happy, students have access to free study spaces, computers, resources and WiFi, to help them ace their exams and stay on top of their coursework.

In addition, the programme also emphasises the importance of self-care and taking breaks, because let’s face it, studying can be stressful! So, if you’re a student in Worcestershire, be sure to check out Study Happy and see how it can help you reach your academic goals while feeling happy and healthy.

Our libraries host regular events that are designed to de-stress and support healthy studying, these include PAT therapy dog sessions, Mindful Colouring, free hot chocolate, and fruit snacks.

The Study Happy programme also offers research, referencing, and information gathering help from the University of Worcester, giving anyone studying for exams or coursework access to expert advice and guidance on their academic work.

Hannah Perrott, Assistant Director for Communities for Worcestershire County Council said: "We understand that studying can be stressful and overwhelming, and we wanted to create a programme that not only supports academic success but also encourages overall wellness. We're thrilled to be partnering with the University of Worcester to provide students with additional support and resources. We believe that by working together, we can help students achieve their full potential and succeed academically."

Judith Keene, Director of Library and Professional Administrative Services at the University of Worcester, added: “Our Study Happy programme has had a positive impact on students using The Hive for a number of years. We are delighted to be partnering with Worcestershire Libraries to extend its support to students more widely across the county.”

The Study Happy programme is open to all students across the county and is completely free of charge.

Whether you're studying for exams or simply need a quiet space to work, Worcestershire Libraries are here to support you on your academic journey.
