Applications for school places in Worcestershire for 2025 are set to open on 1 September 2024.
The applications will be open for any child due to start school for the first time or moving to a Middle or High School in September 2025.
For children applying for a place at High school, the deadline to apply is the 31 October 2024.
For Primary, First, Infant, Junior and Middle schools, parents will have until 15 January 2025.

Councillor David Chambers, Cabinet Member with responsibility for Education at Worcestershire County Council said, "Starting school and transitioning to the next phase of education is a pivotal and exciting milestone for children and young people. Our commitment is to facilitate this transition seamlessly and every child who submits their application on time will receive a school place offer. To increase the likelihood of securing a spot at your preferred schools for 2025, we strongly encourage parents and carers to please make sure they meet the application deadlines.”
Parents and carers can apply for their child’s school place via a secure online portal any time before 12 midnight on the relevant deadline day.
