Join us in discussion with debut novelist, Natalie Marlow, who has created a gritty private detective embroiled in the seedier aspects of society. Needless Alley is a crime noir that brings 1930s Birmingham to life in all its dark glory. It is the first in a new series of detective novels and introduces us to a cast that are impossible to forget. For those familiar with Birmingham, there are locations you will recognise - alongside characters you wouldn’t want to meet in a dark alley!

Natalie Marlow is an historical novelist with a fascination for the people and landscapes of the Midlands. Much of her writing takes inspiration from the stories her grandparents told.

This event is free to attend and you can book your place by following the link, or in-person in Redditch Library.
