Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (As Amended) Worcestershire County Council (Various Roads Droitwich, Hampton Lovett and Cutnall Green) (30 Mph and 40 Mph Speed Limit) (Revocations and Proposals) Order 2019 (Revocation) and Various Roads, Droitwich, Hampton Lovett, and Cutnall Green, (Restricted Roads and 40 MPH Speed Limit) Order 2024
On 9 May 2024 Worcestershire County Council made an Order the effect of which will be to update the speed limit on the following lengths of road as follows:
The 30mph speed limit on the following lengths of roads in Cutnall Green, as follows:
C2030 Elmley Lane from its junction with A442 in a westerly direction to a point 25 metres west of its junction with UC40008 Elmley Close.
C2085 Addis Lane from its junction with A442 for a distance of 655 metres in an easterly direction.
C2143 from its junction with A442 for a distance of 420 metres in a westerly then south westerly direction.
UC40008 Elmley Close for its entire length.
UC40009 for its entire length.
UC40410 Oak Tree Drive for its entire length.
The 40mph speed limit on the following lengths of road in Cutnall Green, as follows:
A442 Droitwich Road from a point 150 metres north of its junction with C2018 in a southerly direction to a point 580 metres south of its junction with C2143.
C2018 Clattercut Lane from its junction with A442 for a distance of 60 metres in a northerly direction.
UC40405 Foster Drive for its entire length.
The 40mph speed limit on the following lengths of road in Droitwich and Hampton Lovett,
A442 from its junction with A38 Roman Way in a generally northerly direction to a point 200 metres north of its junction with C2074 Doverdale Lane.
C2254 from its junction with A38 Roman Way in a south easterly direction to a point 70 metres north west of its junction with UC41202 New Chawson Lane.
There are exemptions in the Order for Special Forces Vehicles.
The Order will come into operation on 30 May 2024.
