Tetbury Drive and Leckhampton Close, Worcester POW, ROW and NS

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) Worcestershire County Council (City of Worcester) (Civil Enforcement Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2011 (Variation) Order 2025 [Prohibition of Waiting on Tetbury Drive and Leckhampton Close, Worcester] and [Restriction of Waiting and No Stopping on School Keep Clear Markings on Tetbury Drive, Worcester]

On 23 January 2025 Worcestershire County Council made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit waiting at any time on the following lengths and sides of roads in Worcester:

Tetbury Drive (Northwest side): from a point 10 metres southwest of its junction with Cranham Drive for a distance of 9 metres in a south westerly direction;

(East side): from its junction with Leckhampton Close for a distance of 11 metres in a northerly direction and 6 metres in a southerly direction.

Leckhampton Close (Both sides): from its junction with Tetbury Drive for a distance of 10 metres in an easterly direction.

Restriction of Waiting Mon-Fri 8am-5pm 

Tetbury Drive (West side): from the centrepoint of its junction with Leckhampton Close for a distance of 30 metres in a northerly direction.

Worcestershire County Council made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit stopping on school entrance markings Mon-Fri 8am-5pm as follows:
Tetbury Drive (West side): from a point 46 metres south of its junction with Cranham Drive for a distance of 35 metres in a southerly direction.

The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons' vehicles.
The Order will come into operation on 13 February 2025.

The validity of the Council's powers in making the Order or this exercise of them may be questioned by application to the High Court within 6 weeks from the date on which the Order was made.
