Merse Road, Redditch POW

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) Worcestershire County Council (Borough of Redditch) (Civil Enforcement Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2009 (Variation) Order 2024 [Prohibition of Waiting on Merse Road, Redditch]


Worcestershire County Council are to consider making an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit waiting at any time on the following lengths and sides of road in Redditch:

Burnt Meadow Road (North Side) from its junction with Merse Road for a distance of 10 metres in a north easterly direction 

(South Side) from its junction with Merse Road for a distance of 10 metres in a north easterly direction.

Merse Road (Northeastern Side) from its junction with Burnt Meadow Road for a distance of 10m in a northwestern direction 

(Northeastern Side) from its junction with Burnt Meadow Road for a distance of 10m in a Southeastern direction 

(Northeastern Side) from a point 18 metres from its junction with Burnt Meadow Road for a distance of 10m in a Southeastern direction

(Northeastern Side) from a point 33 metres from its junction with Burnt Meadow Road for a distance of 10m in a Southeastern direction 

(Northeastern Side) from a point 90 metres from its junction with Burnt Meadow Road for a distance of 10m in a Southeastern direction

(Northeastern Side) from a point 108 metres from its junction with Burnt Meadow Road for a distance of 10m in a Southeastern direction 

(Northeastern Side) from a point 140 metres from its junction with Burnt Meadow Road for a distance of 10m in a Southeastern direction

(Southwestern Side) from its junction with Eagle Road for a distance of 10 metres in a North western direction 

(Southwestern Side) from its junction with Eagle Road for a distance of 10 metres in a South  western direction.

Eagle Road (Northern Side) From its junction with Merse road for a distance of 10 metres in a westerly direction

(Southern Side) from its junction with Merse Road for a distance of 10 metres in a westerly direction.

The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons’ vehicles.
