Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) Worcestershire County Council (City of Worcester) (Civil Enforcement Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2011 (Variation) Order 2024 [Prohibition of Waiting on Crown Street, Summer Street and Raglan Street, Worcester]

On 30 May 2024 Worcestershire County Council made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit waiting at any time on the following lengths and sides of roads in Worcester:

Crown Street (north side) from its junction with Summer Street for a distance of 10 metres in an easterly direction.

Summer Street (east side) from its junction with Crown Street for a distance of 9 metres in a northerly direction.

Raglan Street (west side) from a point 24 metres south of its junction with Gregory’s Mill Street for a distance of 7 metres in a southerly direction.

The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons' vehicles.

The Order will come into operation on 20 June 2024.

O theyr may be inspected at Worcestershire County Council, County Hall, Spetchley Road, Worcester, WR5 2NP during normal office hours. The validity of the Council's powers in making the Order or this exercise of them may be questioned by application to the High Court within 6 weeks from the date on which the Order was made.
