Broad Street, Duke Street, Kidderminster POW

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) Worcestershire County Council (Wyre Forest District – Kidderminster area) (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2007 (Variation) Order 2024 [Prohibition of Waiting on Broad Street/Duke Street, Kidderminster] 

On 25 July 2024 Worcestershire County Council made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit waiting at any time on the following lengths and sides of roads in Kidderminster:-

Broad Street (south west side) from its junction with Duke Street for a distance of 16m in a southerly direction and 8m in a northerly direction.

Duke Street (south east side) from its junction with Broad Street for a distance of 10m in a western southerly direction.

Duke Street (north west side) from its junction with Broad Street for a distance of 10m in a western southerly direction.

The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons' vehicles.

The Order will come into operation on 15 August 2024.

The validity of the Council's powers in making the Order or this exercise of them may be questioned by application to the High Court within 6 weeks from the date on which the Order was made.
