Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) Worcestershire County Council (Borough of Redditch) (Civil Enforcement Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2009 (Variation) Order 2025 [No Waiting (Proposal and Revocation) on Batchley Road/Hewell Road, Redditch]
On 6 February 2025 Worcestershire County Council made an Order the effect of which will be to impose No Waiting on the following lengths and sides of roads in Redditch:
Hewell Road (South Side) - No Waiting at Any Time
From a point 30m east of its junction with Batchley Road for a distance of 16m in an easterly direction.
(North Side) - No Waiting at Any Time
From a point 30m east of its junction with Batchley Road for a distance of 112m in an easterly direction.
Batchley Road- (North Side) - No Waiting at Any Time
From a point 16m north of its junction with Ash Tree Road for a distance of 42m in a northerly direction.
Revoke No Waiting at any time:
Batchley Road (Both Sides) - From its junction with Hewell Road for a distance of 32m in a southerly direction.
The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons’ vehicles.
The Order will come into operation on 27 February 2025.
