Mother and Toddler to Young Adults with Disabilities

Description

The Inclusion Club is an open access innovative twice weekly youth club for 75 young people with disabilities, learning difficulties, complex health needs and challenging behaviour for 12 to 16 year olds on a Wednesday evening and 16 to 25 year olds on a Sunday evening. The Inclusion Club enhances young people’s opportunities to be involved in an exciting fun programme of activities that will include arts and crafts, healthy cooking, sports and games, dance and drama, educational trips and workshops. The Club gives them the opportunities to attend short break activities where they can interact and mix socially with their peers.  It provides young people with the opportunity to gain social skills and raise their self esteem through involvement in developing the project and participating in activities that may not otherwise be available to them.

Skate Park - Free open access sessions based in our Youth Lodge located at our Skate Park, which is adjacent to our main club premises.  The Youth Lodge offers an activity/social area, toilet facilities, first aid room, office and kitchen/snack bar, free use of PC’s/Lap Tops and free WiFi.  It offers a warm and welcoming, safe space for young people to meet and socialise.
