Councillor Tracey Onslow has been elected as the new Chairman for Worcestershire County Council for the civic year 2024/25.

Tracey has been a District Councillor since 2007 and a County Councillor for the Kidderminster St John’s Division since 2017. 

She takes over the role from Councillor Kyle Daisley.

In her time as a County Councillor, Tracey has been Cabinet Member for Education, and a member of the Council’s Children & Families Panel.

In her career, Tracey was Deputy Police and Crime Commissioner for West Mercia for 6 years, as well as the Managing Director of a property company.

She has served 3 terms as a Cabinet Member for Wyre Forest District Council, and is currently Cabinet Member for Leisure, Arts, Community Safety, Emergency Planning, Regulatory Services & Culture.

Councillor Allah Ditta has been appointed Vice Chairman for the new Civic year.
