The Education Engagement Team delivers statutory functions on behalf of the Local Authority, seeking to ensure each child’s and young person’s right to education.

The team support any child or young person who is deemed to be a Child Missing Education (CME), who is not registered on a school roll or receiving a suitable education otherwise. The team also support schools in line with the Department for Education (DfE) Working together to improve school attendance (GOV.UK)
