Hotel room attendants make sure that hotel rooms are clean, tidy and inviting for guests. They go into the guests' rooms every day to tidy up, clean the bathroom and make the beds. They make sure that the room is stocked with clean towels, soap, shampoo and toilet paper. Many hotels also provide tea, coffee and biscuits for their guests.

Room attendants or housekeeping staff will work indoors hotels can be based in city centres like Wolverhampton or in smaller towns
Hotel room attendants usually work about 35 hours a week, although many work part-time. It can involve early morning and weekends.
Starting salary: £11,500
You do not need any particular qualifications to Room attendants or housekeeping staff although some employers may ask you to have a good general standard of education, especially in English and maths other will be much more flexible. You can apply directly to employers if you've got some of the relevant skills and knowledge needed for the job. Experience in cleaning can be useful. Employers will be interested in your personal qualities and will expect you to be hardworking, honest and a reliable time-keeper.
You could also apply for an apprenticeship. If you have an EHCP you may be able to apply under the DfE exemption which allows the apprentice to use Entry level 3 English and Maths qualifications. The apprentice would have to be component enough to successfully achieve all other aspects of the apprenticeship requirements, become occupationally competent and achieve Entry Level 3 in English and Maths before the end of their apprenticeship.
