Yoga Teachers teach yoga as a form of exercise to increase fitness and wellbeing.

As a Yoga Teacher, you could work at a fitness or health centre, in community centres or in local village halls.
Yoga Teachers tend to work 37 to 39 hours a week but this is variable. You could work evenings and weekends to suit customers demands.
Starting: £18,000
Experienced: £25,000
You can get into this job through a college course or specialist courses run by private training organisation.
You could take a Level 3 Diploma in Teaching Yoga and the entry requirements for these courses vary.
You can also train as a teacher by doing yoga courses with a specialist training provider. Additionally, you may be able to become a Yoga Teacher if you have 2 years experience of practising yoga with a qualified teacher.
