Families across Worcestershire have found out today which primary or first school their children will be starting at this September.
Over 98% of the county’s youngest school pupils received an offer from one of their top three choices, with over 93% of pupils heading to their first choice of primary or first school to start this important education journey.
This year, the County Council received 6,042 primary school applications, and 2,407 middle school applications.
Everyone who made an application for a primary school, first school or middle school place has received an offer.
Sarah Wilkins, Director for Education at Worcestershire County Council said: “We know what a significant milestone starting a new school is, and it is great to see that so many children in Worcestershire will be starting at their preferred school this autumn.“
99% of this year’s primary and middle school applications in Worcestershire were made online by visiting the dedicated pages of the Council’s website.
School place offers are available to view via logging on to your account, and an email will be sent informing you of the outcome of your application.
