Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) Worcestershire County Council (Wyre Forest District – Kidderminster Area) (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2007 (Variation) Order 2024 [Prohibition of Waiting on Connaught Avenue/ Sutton Park Road/ Reservoir Road, Kidderminster]
On 11 July 2024 Worcestershire County Council made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit waiting at any time on the following lengths and sides of roads in Kidderminster:
Sutton Park road (north side) from its junction with Connaught Avenue for a distance of 15m easterly direction and 15m in westerly direction.
Connaught Avenue (both sides) from its junction with Sutton Park Road for a distance of 10m in a northerly direction.
Sutton Park Road (south side) from its junction with Reservoir Road for a distance 15m easterly direction and 15m in westerly direction.
Reservoir Road (both sides) from its junction with Sutton Park Road for a distance of 10m in a southerly direction.
The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons' vehicles.
The Order will come into operation on 1 August 2024.

The validity of the Council's powers in making the Order or this exercise of them may be questioned by application to the High Court within 6 weeks from the date on which the Order was made.
